Just found your site whilst searching for info.
Been a model engineer for many years building 31/2” & 5” gauge steam locos.
Purchased a set of Gypsy castings many years ago as I fell in love with a finished engine at a London MES.
Having retired and just finished restoring a ‘46 1/2t Ford PU I have been considering the next project.
Now having found your site I have been looking at the castings under my bench.
Just gone through “Old Bills” posts for the third time, fantastic.

Hi "Daggers", welcome to the forum from another member in your part of southern England.  Look forward to seeing more postings, and hopefully some photos of your models.    Dave

 :hi: Daggers,

Another person with a set of Gypsy Castings  :cartwheel: Do you have any other interesting sets of castings  :naughty:

Jo

P.S. I am about 20 miles North of you, Dave (Chipswitheverything) is about 20 miles West of you  ;)
Enjoyment is more important than achievement.

Welcome to the forum Daggers.

By the sound of what Jo just said, I may be a few miles to the south of you in Fareham

It is the journey that matters, not the destination

Sometimes, it can be a long and winding road
