I really don't think they can do much other than inconvenience with disruption and advertising. There really isn't any personal information stored on a site like this. It blows my mind that they even bother to do anything. They are probably trying to hack other sites with that info that are on the same host server and it screws up everybody on that server.

And there is a good chance I don't have a clue what i'm talking about.

It's back again now... hopefully Eric will have some luck with the same list of banned IPs that we use, but I suspect there's more to it than just heavy traffic. However, Eric knows what he's doing, so hopefully it'll settle down again soon.
