Absolutely beautiful, George.  Great to see it running.

Now for a nice tug boat to install it in!

Well Done.

It was impressive, then I realized how small it is, which makes it even more-so.

Thank You for posting,

Nice George, I had also thought that your engine was a lot bigger than it is. I am also surprised at how fast you built it.

Excellent build!  the more so because of the size and the quick build. :praise2:               Terry

Nice job as usual.  Is the LP cylinder doing most of the work (assumed because it's larger).

If its plumbed as a compound, wouldn't the air have to get through the smallest one first, so there would be less to fill the big one? So the first, small cylinder, does all(most) the work? Or is this one plumbed for air, with intake from compressor to all three directly?   :headscratch:   Always wondered if a compound would really run decently on air, never tried one though.
Either way, wonderful engine!

The HP on air is making it go....the LP will probably over expand the air and create a vacuum, and is slowing it down so running with the LP drains open should make the engine go faster....unless the timing between cylinders has been changed to suite running on air.

Hi George, very well done. Seems to be designed for a high speed steam race boat.
Kind Regards
