Mini V12 - Solenoid engine
« on: October 05, 2019, 12:34:55 PM »
Hello from France,

One more... ::)
As small as possible : 124mm long (between each shaft ends) - 65mm high - 67mm wide and 390 grams.

-12 "cylinders". Chinese solenoids with spring loaded plungers.
-2 stroke cycle.
-Distribution on brass brushes.
-Runs on (about) 15 VDC.
-No speed control device, this time (as simple as possible). Speed only depends on input voltage.
-Pushed connecting rods (not pulled), like it is on my solenoid double-star engine. So, no mechanical connection between plungers and connecting rods.

Video soon. I'm working on it.

It looks somewhat different to your previous versions, but I'm guessing that you are keeping yourself challenged that way  :ThumbsUp:

Looking forward to the Movie  :cheers:
