Centec milling machine
« on: October 18, 2019, 02:01:40 PM »
Hi some time ago I brought 2 centec milling machines and made one out of the two.
I now have the other one to to get rid of its the bench mounted type and is horizontal, there is no table at all but most of the other bits are there the overarm and arbor are present as is a motor.
If a fellow model maker would like it as a project or for parts it's free to a good home

I'm located in shropshire

Best wishes jonathan

Following in Vincent's footsteps, eh, Jonathan?  :)

We managed to salvage most of his workshop before the clearance folk descended upon it and number two son took on the Centec's.

If your offer is still open I'll mention it to Mathew later this evening? Like you, Vincent managed to make one machine from two perhaps a third could be preserved?

Cheers Graham.

Hi graham yes I really like my centec and I have the vertical and horizontal parts plus the raising block so it makes it a nice versitile machine.

If your son is intrested in the mill he's welcome to it. I Dont know If it will make another miller but the overarm and arbor is there so they may come in

Let me know your thoughts

Jonathan
