Would the little chap fancy a heavy 12" dia curved spoke flywheel casting and box bed, both originally intended for a Stuart Turner 1/2hp open crank IC engine> Maybe a bit big for him perhaps.

He hasn't been allowed to find a casting that was too big for him/me yet  ::)

1/2 HP open crank engine

Jo

(The only engine so far deemed too big/heavy is the Stuart 600.. The two casting sets are back up for sale if anyone feels very strong  :paranoia: )
Enjoyment is more important than achievement.

Yes, well, the flywheel isn't far off the 600 in size, so probably not.
Having built 2 600s in my time, and not having the bigger machinery any more, I'll pass on those. A lovely engine though, but weighs in around 150lb when finshed.

Thats a very nice job very well done Jo, thanks for sharing that and all the tips along the way, seeing a job on here all the way through and all stages posted up here too with plenty of pics gives one the inpetus to carry on and get one's own job completed.
