Coles C-612 Horizontal side crank Steam engine Drawings

A little birdy Elephant tells me that I might be getting a set of Coles C-612 Horizontal side crank Steam engine castings for my birthday 

However he has told me I am going to have to find my own set of drawings as his supplier has lost them  As Coles are no longer trading does anyone know where I could get a set of drawings from for this engine?

P.S. I have been told not to poke or try to rattle any heavy parcels that might arrive or else he might have to confiscate them

Looks simple enough to come up with the sizes yourself, could use this as a guide.

By the time you have metricated it and changed all the fasteners you may as well draw it up from scratch

Hope you are getting a good discount as there are no drawings

Having reviewed the GA in the large    this looks like a simple enough engine to scale up from the GA.  It is a biggie

A very nice man had the miss fortune of attempting to deliver the castings this morning only to have Surus pounce on him  He managed to get him to deliver the castings box onto the dining room table and I caught him opening the box  Then he needed a hand to find the bits as he kept getting lost in the packing quavers and they were preventing him from retrieving the packets of castings.

Finally we found the packets in the box and unwrapped the bits to check everything was there. Did I mention it is a big engine  We positioned a 5A behind the castings to provide an indication of size.

Surus now wants a more appropriate box for his  new set of castings.

I recon the delivery man was lucky being pounced on by Surus, could have been a different outcome if you had got to him first

Quite a beast there Jo. Nice looking castings though and nice that the rings were included as well.

They fall off if you try balancing them the other way up   


Yes Bill it is not the lightest of casting sets. I am hoping having found him a box to put the castings in that we can have a fondle of them before they have to go away after all it is Thursday
