Tell me about it: damn global warming  8). The girls needed some hooks to hang some big pots on, cause all the store bought stuff had crashed. I (stupidly) fired up the forge and whipped them up a batch of six simple S hooks. Thermometer in the forging area  read 104F. Lost a bunch of consumed Budweiser, I did  :lolb: :lolb:. We’re still getting a lot of rain also, and usually, this time of year, we’re drier than a popcorn fart ( grandma expression  :lolb:) . Stay hydrated: and especially at “pub time”  :lolb:

Luv y’all
Whiskey

We are getting close to our summer RC sub run in Carmel Indiana (just north of Indianapolis) second weekend of August - hope this is not the pattern that week!! Usually hot there in summer, but the humidity in this system is really bad. Hoping for a year like two or three ago, when it was only 62 that weekend. Falling in the pond by 'accident' is not too good, usually lots of goose exhaust in there (a man made reflecting pool) At least we have tents for shade.

Here is where Don should chime in with a 'you think THATS hot, try coming down THIS part of the country!'

Nothing but rain and thunderstorms here our summer has been a washout so far, and cool.

We had a horrible cool, wet, nasty spring here in  my part of Ontario, about 75 miles north of lake Ontario.--But--The weather has finally got it's act together and we're getting fairly consistent low 80's F here now. Still getting some rain, although a lot of lawns look pretty brown. I go for my "fat mans walk" every day for the last two months, and haven't had to miss a day for rain. I walk just over a mile, 1/2 of which is uphill. It's working--I've dropped 22 pounds so far.

I'll believe it when I see it.  Its absolutely p......g it down at the moment.  Was hoping to get my diving kit rinsed off and dried outside this afternoon.  Just done my first UK cold water dives since April 2017.  Drysuit still fitted me and all kit still worked.  :). Result.
