Hi Derek, the hoop valve will be connected to the Watt controller. I use five screws for larger flanges. (aesthetics) Usually for pipe 4mm 4 screws and 8mm 5 bolts. It's my style.

Amazing work Pavel....just two questions

1. was the Blue gasket material too tough and incompressible with scale torque?.....the Straw cardboard looks torn on the edge so was softer & more suitable?

2. Is this some sort of flared tube fitting in the second image?

Hi Pavel,

Great to see a governor actually controlling the speed of the engine when you varied the load with your fingers on the flywheel.  It looks like you were also able to alter the set speed with the spring preload.

Really excellent work, right up with your normal high standard.  Really great to see.
