Two (2)Free Steam Engine Kits

Hello Everyone,

I have two PM Research steam engine kits that I would like to give to someone (s), just pay shipping to your address.

Kit (1) PMR 3BI Bronze/Iron Mill Engine. The Base has already been machined but no other work has been done on any of the parts. Factory original box.

Kit (2) PMR 5BI Coke Bottle Style Engine Iron/Bronze. Factory new in original box.

I have more on my plate than I can handle and I when the Buggy is completed I have several more new Steam Engine designs that I would like to build. I just would like to see someone complete these and show a build thread here on the Forum. Please do not ask for one if you do not plan to build it very soon.

Please send me a PM if you would like to have one of these kits.

PS; I am having power outage from time to time so I might not respond right away.

Thank you so much for your generosity, Thomas!  I had meant to come back to this thread sooner, but I had to do some searching to find it again! Been out of town a lot for work too, which doesn't help matters.

Planning on doing a build thread when I get started on this, hopefully in July or August. Have a few other small projects that have to be finished first. I am one of those guys that gets himself in trouble if I get to many things going at one time, and I am trying to avoid that!

Okay folks, I know this is an old thread, but there is very good reason for re-opening it. I was one of the original recipients of one of the steam engine kits given away in this thread, specifically the vertical Coke bottle engine. I had fully planned to get started on it in July or August, but my employer had other ideas for what free time I had and as a result I have not been able to get started on this project. With winter coming, and my garage/shop not being heated I will not be able to get a serious start on it until spring at the earliest. One of the original criteria of this thread was that the engine must be built soon and a build thread must be done. I am unable to meet that requirement so the kit is being put up for adoption once again.

It is a PMR 5BI Coke Bottle Style Engine Iron/Bronze. Factory new in original box, all original drawings are included. Photo of a completed engine from this kit is shown in a post from earlier in this thread.

The original benefactor had the following requirements, quote:  "I just would like to see someone complete these and show a build thread here on the Forum. Please do not ask for one if you do not plan to build it very soon.

Please send me a PM if you would like to have one of these kits."

Those requirements are still in effect.

So, the first person that contacts me for this engine by PM and is willing to pay for shipping (just like I had to) and is willing to start on this project in the next few weeks will be the recipient. Ye-Ole Steam Dude and I have been conversing back and forth and he is aware that this event is taking place.

My apologies to everyone that I was unable to get this project off the ground as I had originally planned. Sometimes our best laid plans just are not meant to be.
