Water Pump Jack

I am just about finished with my latest project, a cute little Pump Jack. It was a very old casting kit that I purchased at a local Engine Display/ Swap meet. I still have some more work to do, I did have it pumping water by hand before I attached it to one of my motors but I was so excited to see it operating I made this very short unprofessional video of it running. I will make a proper one later in a few days.

Hello Jack,

a really great model. It should also be about 1/3 scale, right?
I also like the speed very well. The pump is running slowly, that's how it should be.

When I was a kid in the 1950's, and electricity had not yet come to my part of Ontario, my dad took me to see a full size set-up like that at a neighbours farm. I was just amazed by it.---Brian

I now have it pumping water under power, Not Exactly what I would call a Gusher but it does work.
