Air cleaner for V-8
« on: April 28, 2019, 08:49:39 PM »
Ok been messing around with making an air cleaner pan and the snout still want to put a piece for attaching the heat riser hose that will go down to the headers. Not sure if I should leave the flange on it or cut it off what do you think. The other engine I made an after market style air pan. Just kind of playing around with this. I had to make some RC car parts for my nephew and after I finished them I started playing. Any way I king of think the flange looks out of place. Next I'll play around with making an oil filter add on for the engines.

I think it looks great. Radius the corners on the air snout and you've got it! -Terry

Looks good Doc. Maybe a wing nut to hold the top on though, depending on what the real ones used.

Yep wing nut in the plans I worked on the flange thinned it out. I powder coated it and am waiting for it to cool down I post some shots of it when it cools to where I can handle it.

Thanks Bill

I have one more decal to put on that goes on the side in the front. Just want to get some white decal material to print it on.
