Giant Spark Plug
« on: March 30, 2019, 08:40:50 PM »
Just thought the gang here would get a kick out of this. I was going to do a build thread but after 3 tries I gave up.

Champion 3X spark plug 4X size. 400,000 Volts. Spark gap is 3/4 inch but it will arc over an inch easily.

Dogs wont come out in the garage anymore. Sounds like a machine gun.

Steve,
The scale on that spark plug, aren't you going backwards with that scale? My dad had a Tesla coil & had it set up as a Jacobs Ladder. It sizzled its way up 3 feet of steel brazing rod. Way cool :zap: I still have the spark plug tester, it's zapped a lot of people in it's day.
