I doubt it, that is extruded all not cast

Can't see them being much use if they're zero thickness. 

I mostly use offcuts of 6082 for fixtures to help machine the more awkward parts of my engines.

I tend to agree with him that they look to be idea for the cylinder sleeves for our BR2. So hopefully they will keep him occupied for a while
