Thank you
« on: March 13, 2019, 03:17:39 PM »
Thank you for allowing me to join.  I am very unlikely to be able to add any thing of value to the forum as I have very little knowledge of engineering. I arrived here by accident after looking for information about the 'Minnie' traction engine. Some twenty years ago I bought the book, an Atlas lathe and began to chew metal. Made a few parts for my motorbike, nothing I couldn't have bought, but had some fun. Then I sold everything a bought a narrowboat. Still on the boat but still a hankering to build or rescue/salvage a part made project. Well that's a bit about me. SO I'll hide in the back ground and marvel at all the wonderful work that goes on.

Welcome to the forum Wrinkly. There are all skill levels here so don't let that deter you at all. Do you have any engine projects in mind yet or at the point of building your shop back up? Glad to have you join us.

Bill

Welcome along Wrinkly   There is an Atlas lathe in my shop.    Get a "butty" alongside and you've got workshop space :LickLips:
