Greetings from Scotland
« on: February 25, 2019, 10:55:31 PM »
Hello everyone, my name is Simone and I'm an Italian guy based in Scotland and very happy to be here.

I decided to join this forum because I'm a huge mechanics fanatic, and always had the idea to build some RC models of very fascinating italian race cars, such as Lancia Delta HF or Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI... and I wish to build a running scale model of the fantastic Alfa Romeo V6 "Busso" engine.  :cartwheel:

So far I haven't started building anything, I'm here pretty much to learn by all of you and collect info about tools and technique in order to achieve my goals.  :hammerbash: :zap:  :stir:  :wallbang: :insane:  :noidea:

Thank you so much, hope we'll have fun together  ;)

Have a great day,

 :hi: Simone

Do you have space for a workshop in the UK?

Or are you planning for your workshop if you return to Italy? (We have a few members in Northern Italy  ;) )

Jo

Hi Jo, so far I’ve planned just... to learn how I can do it  ;D I think I’ll start setting my workspace as soon as I’ll buy my hown house, most likely here in UK  I might start building some wood (on my own design) or plastic models, and then move to build a functioning model... hope to have fun  ;)
