We (they!) run trains every Sunday at our Southampton club in the summer. Now that I have three(!!!) engines on the go and two boilers, it was suggested that I compile a demo board comprising these units, and have it running at our little railway station while the grownups play with their toys. The kids in the queue - both young and old- could start and stop the engines, attended by blower steam etc. and would surely attract more interest than running them on bland old compressed air? The board would look like this, obviously equipped with suitable heat proof valves and safety measures...
Does anyone else do something similar, and have experiences to pass along?
