A Major Setback! :'(

I started on the mounting studs today. Unfortunately, The tiles are just about the hardest I have ever encountered. Ten minutes to drill a 3/16" hole with a new drill and then the tile cracked! I can't risk that happening with the others, so I am not going ahead with this board.

I just happened to have another piece of walnut worktop - thanks Jez!- and it will be plain vanilla with a rebated edge like the first one.

I love that beam engine / boiler set up, it must weigh a ton on that slab of wood though  :)
