First run of my Stuart #4

Been a fun build, just in time for christmas :)

Thanks guys, once its run for a while I will tweak the timing as its just set at the standard 90 degrees at the moment.

Yeah, as it has been said - a very smooth runner you've got there! And it sounds like it is breaking in just while the video was recorded since it accelerates slowly.

Yes literally the first run, The valve was a bit tight when I first started it, drilled it out and gave it a bit more float and it started so I grabbed the camera and it speeded up after a few seconds as the oil got spread round.

Will try it on steam in the new year, I have a 501 boiler which is not big enough but it will soon be turning on 10 psi after a few runs on air over christmas so should get a few short bursts out of it :)

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, looking forward now to the New Year and starting the Elmers engines #29 and #32 which I will build together as many components are the same or at least similar
