Green with Aciera envy ::) :disappointed: :disappointed:
It is the journey that matters, not the destination

Sometimes, it can be a long and winding road

Dave,
That's an elegant solution, very creative. I'm not sure I would do well on your Aciera mill. To many variables, but then again an almost infinite way to set things up. good job

Steamer,

You have some nice bits with your Aciera.  Mine is the earlier F12.  Gradually collecting bits.  My mate also has one (F1 version) and has made a number of castings for various parts.  Hew rebuilt the spindle is mine before I bought it of him..

Not got quite so many bits as yours.

OK   got to try out the Sherline rotary table with the Aciera mount and external crank.     It Worked Perfectly!

I dialed the table to zero, set the zero pointer and then mounted the table.   I then trammed the right most T slot to be parallel to the Long axis of the mill..   Easy peasy!

No zero setting dial required!

Nice rugged table.  It cut beautifully!

Glad it worked well for you Dave.  I've always loved my little 4" Sherline RT.  It's a joy to use.  And I'll be your custom handle made it even better!
