So what you got up your sleeve there Whiskey??

Dave, maybe you can take a before and after pic of the general shop illumination.

Bill

The condition of the shop is embarrassing at the moment..Today is a clean up day, as I have to make room for the 3D printer...so maybe later today....but I've got some cooking to do too.....we'll see.

Dave

Yeah I know that feeling well. I have purposely hidden lots of my space till recently too and for the same reason. There is still some clutter about that I must deal with.

Heres a couple of shots of Lighting upgrade project 1   The Aciera F1

Much better....and the light is movable enough that I can put it where its not making a shadow..

brighter than the original 40W incandescent ever dreamed of being!

MUCH better.....my plan is working well so far.   Santa has some machine lights for me.......so I'm told.....provided i've been a good boy.....

I have a nice piece of angle iron that will work a treat to mount them too...

Getting the main beam over to the operator side of the center of the spindle is the trick....no more shadows on that side.

The LED ceiling fixtures came late yesterday, and today I got to fooling around with them    Plugged one in....Holy (*Q@(*(  !  :o 8)

WAY brighter than any Florescent fixture I've ever seen...I'll start tonight, and hopefully get them all up tomorrow.   12 foot ceiling is the challenge with an 8 foot step ladder and bum leg...should be interesting.

Additionally I got the aluminum angle iron I needed to mount my Mill lamps.    I'll get to that after the ceiling fixtures.  I'm way excited about these lights!

Excellent!  Then you can see how many lost parts in the dim corners are now visible...
