Need help making finger treadle engine
« on: November 10, 2018, 02:31:20 AM »
Hi,

I'm working on a guitar pedal project that involves a finger treadle engine that's been modified to be foot operated. Unfortunately, I don't have any metal working tools. I've 3D printed one based on the NAMES design but there are issues with weight and plastic parts flexing.

If you'd be interested in helping me with this project please let me know. I'm trying to see if it's a practical pedal but if it is I plan on selling them so I'm willing to pay for your work.

Thanks,

Ronnie Schreiber

Ronnie, pictures help, so we can see what you have so far, then suggestions can come from that.

Ronnie, not sure I understand what you are trying to achieve here. Is this a guitar project or an engine project. Generally this is not the place for seeking machining help. Perhaps you can find a local machine shop that you can work with directly.  Also an introduction would be appreciated.
