Straight off the local evening news. A 911 call form a guy in my county ( unfortunately)....

Caller: I just shot myself
911 operator: what happened?
Caller: I set up a trip wire to a shotgun and opened the door. I am in the driveway and shot my arm off. I am gonna die!!

Newscaster: Fortunately a sherrifs deputy arrived and applied a tournequet. They fellow is expected to survive.

Me: Why in the heck would a person set up a trip wire in their own home.... " Here's your sign"

You just can't make this stuff up!!

I can only imagine that the poor sheriff’s deputy had to be extra vigilant looking to see if the bonehead had any other devices. I guess the “No Trespassing “ signs were just not effective enough. I’m sure they will be searching to see what was so important to go to that extreme to protect
