Today we have success. Adding a second spring to the clutch shoe return mechanism was enough to overcome any centrifugal forces, and solved the problem of "clutch creep". I'm  happy with this clutch now and do not plan any farther work on it.--Brian Rupnow

I hope those hardened parts for the original design eventually arrive.  Or did you cannibalise it for the new design?

No, the other design is still going ahead. I am having problems with my free  case hardening of the coned hub. If it isn't finished this coming week I will make a new hub from 01 and flame harden it.--Brian
