Not come across these drawing sets before but there are come interesting looking engines in there. I particularly like the looks of the V8 with the propeller reduction gear

Good move Dave. I'm tempted, but I really do have enough on the go at the moment.

 :lolb:

Someone once told me that if you run out of models to build there is a risk you might die  Anyway what is nicer than a nice set of engine drawings to admire as the evenings get colder (other than a nice set of drawings complete with their castings  ::) )

Someone else told me " He (she) who dies with the most toys ....wins"

Besides, I have a nice 3D CAD drawing package waiting to be learned when the evenings get colder. What can be nicer than a complete set of your own drawings?

I have been building this engine for the past 8 months .So far i have found 4 different faults on the drawings ,i have notified cad and they have now revised their drawings. The build notes are in german and the google translation is of very little help !Cad did not offer the build notes in english ,which i find very strange .The drawings are very good but complicated (not for the beginner )Be interesting to hear from other builders ,if there are any .

Hello Mike,

I don't think many folk have discovered cad-modeltechnik-jung. You may be the first on the forum.
Have you discovered how to post picture on the website yet? There are quite a few members who would love to see what you have achieved to date. Better still, why not start a build log with photos, description, problems solved etc.

You could always write the build notes in English for them. That would be better than any auto translated stuff

Cheers

I've had a few of their drawings for years Mike but not the V8.

What CAD package do you have?
