How is this green color called which gives the engine a nice appearance.

Well Dave it might surprise you to know that no solder was used as I was worried about covering so many seams. I used Bostic serious glue and put a couple of small pins on the out side flanges and small screws in the base this way you can do a piece at a time and it seems ok as i have fabricated a couple of Beams this way and they seem to survive. The interior flanges were bent around a former and tested for fit until the ends could be pushed together. All of these strips hade a groove machined in the middle to locate in the frame. This is what is so rewarding when your trying to find a solution. Geoff

You asked about the Paint so here's a picture of the primer and top coat. I bought the Green from a local Wargames shop and it went well.

Thanks for the note about the frame Geoff : the neatness and success of the technique that you used proves the point of its effectiveness.  I would feel confident of its strength, the main A plate is taking all the significant strain. They glue aeroplanes together!, so we shouldn't overlook the usefulness of adhesive help.  Dave
