Steam, tractor and vintage engine show in Catoosa, OK
« on: October 15, 2012, 10:03:17 PM »
Headed up this Saturday to the annual show up by Tulsa.   We just happened upon it last year heading out on a fall trip to the east coast and could not spend much time there.   They had a number of large self propelled steam engines, some factory engines, smaller farm steam and IC engines.  Even had some models and shop built engines.   Plenty to see and do.   So this year we planned ahead and are going up just to see the show.   Maybe something will hitch a ride back to my shop?   :naughty:

This park is located right on old highway US 66 and is right next to an excellent example of older steel truss bridge work.   They took down the bridge on the north side but have installed most of it in the park.   Here is a link to my collection of photos of vintage bridges on Route 66.  Just scroll down to the one about Catoosa.
