Hi Jo

Pity I didn't know about the DPM before ....  :'(

I have a part-roll of ( I think ) this stuff somewhere from doing my garage floor.

www.screwfix.com/p/capital-valley-plastics-ltd-vapour-barrier-green-300ga-2-5-x-20m/12869

Dunno how much is left though.

Some of the bar-stock I gave you is wrapped in it to keep the rust at bay IIRC

Want me to look for it ?   I can't remember where it is off-hand but I don't think I've disposed of it.

Dave

That is a bit nearer the right size for the garage bay  :naughty:.

The offending soft bit of wall has been cut out, a line of pavers put in the bottom of the trench and a few bits of timber sorted that just about fit.... I need to jack up those pavers a bit  The main timbers are treated ready for the morning

In the mean time there has been a some trumpeting coming from the house  :headscratch: Then I realised it is Thursday and Surus knows Thursday is our casting fondling night  so we will have to give in for the evening and carry on at first light  ;).

Jo

P.S. Thanks Dave I am sorted for the waterproof membrane  :)

Put a bracket on the back, bolt on some aero engines, make it prop driven...

About 30 years ago I spoke to a bloke in Christchanurch (NZ) about his mobility scooter. He told me that he had built it himself. It had  4 motors, one in each hub,  four large deep cycle batteries, and a generator powered by a Honda 4 stroke engine for recharging while mobile, this also put the voltage up. On battery alone it would do about 20kph in top gear, and 10 in low gear. In top with the generator running it ran at 25 kph(all illeagal). He lived in an outer suberb, and used high power in unpopulated areas.

Jo,
I hope all goes well with the mobility vehicle.
I think the one in the photo needs wheely bars, fortunately I recognize that you are not the driver of said vehicle.

Get some glasses or update your prescription.

Or is it me that needs to get my glasses updated?

I'll probably leave my glasses alone...I couldn't help but think "Hot Wheels"...IF you know what I mean.

No need for Wheely bars, just a basket on the front with some castings in will do the same job ;)

Coffee break time so update time  ;)

The lower timbers are now attached and I have reinforced the first half at the bottom. It looks like this is going to have to be a short day as it is getting a bit too hot to work  :( The target is to finish this end. the other end needs digging out  :toilet_claw: The good news is that the door hinges have turned up so I know what I will be doing tomorrow

Edit: Other end done.  :) But it is too hot now to be in the sun  :disappointed:
