I am sure I told you weeks ago "Minx"  :noidea:

Surus is giving me a bit of  :stickpoke: as he is expecting some more Wall casting sets but I am making him wait  >:D

Nearly had a nasty accident clearing the bay I was just about to take the Dommi off her stand and I got this image in my mind of squashed fingers so stopped and realised she doesn't have any bolts in the top of the shocks :paranoia: Something for tomorrow  :wine1:

Well is was not sure if you had settled on an MX-5 in which case Minx is a suitable name, I was worried you may have bought Eric's Disco off him as he is not allowed to drive it.

That Dommi looks like it really needs some TLC or are you just storing it  Jo

Good luck with the new vehicle

Thanks Per,

That Dommi looks like it really needs some TLC or are you just storing it  Jo

I've been storing it for over 25 years I still haven't decided what to do with it  :(. The way I see it if I wanted to restore a bike then I have one (+ a WD B40 BSA) but I find I enjoy making model engines more fun than restoring motorcycles. It has not cost anything in all those years

These days I prefer the protection of a big metal box around me rather than risk driving a 50 year old motorbike which does not brake or accelerate like modern vehicles.

Amen to that - I did not include the car part of the sentence, as I only ever had and have motorcycles .... but I do prefer the modern ones for the reason you gave - mind you modern tyres are a big part of the performance you get on a modern bike.
I can get away with actions on modern tires that would have killed me on the tires of our youth  ::)  :-X

I've been riding bikes since I was 16 and still ride mine (in the avatar) I've had it since 2000 and not had a problem. I do have cars non computer controlled. '92 Nissan patrol for trips with the van and 3 Mercedes which I maintain as occasional use vehicles all on club registration. They are a '75 W116 450 SEL, '78 W123 300D sedan and a '83 W123 280TE wagon (estate to you northerners. The bike is my main method of travel unless 'er indoors and the dog want to come.
Pete)
I used to have a friend.....but the rope broke and he ran away :(....Good news everybody I have another friend...I used chain this time :)

I was discouraged from riding my bikes as the ex did not have a bike license and didn't like sitting pillion  :-X

My Dommie has had a couple of items made for her, (which I enjoyed making ::) ) and she has moved down into the stable leaving the second bay clear for the new arrival.

Next decision: should Minx have that bay or the other one, maybe Pug should move over for now and we can see how she likes the other bay  :noidea: I bet those of you who can't fit their cars in the garage are pleased you don't have these difficult decisions to make  :LittleDevil:
