Locked out?
« on: July 01, 2018, 06:59:09 PM »
Hi Guys - Just been to visit my friend who was such a help to me in installing my mill a while back. Sadly he is very ill and will not be around for much longer. He is in good spirits though and we talked our usual stuff on matters model and engineering. I noticed he had a iPad so logged in and showed him progress on the Corliss engine which he has taken an interest in.

When I got back home I saw the Topic has been 'locked'  :o. I guess it must have been something I did inadvertently - surely it can't be that my nostalgia has taken a step to far  ::) Oh dear, I sincerely hope not  :-[

I've PM'd Jo - so hoping all will be back on stream in due course  :).

Sorted - by eck that were quick Lass - thanks Jo

Do you know how it happened? Some button we should avoid?

Chris, look at one of your own posts in your thread and see if there is an option to lock it down at the bottom of the post. I am thinking only admins and mods and lock/move/etc. topics but it could be that the original poster can lock his/her own topic as well. If so, stay away from that button... :D

They can do other unintentional things if they are tired and get it wrong  :facepalm2:

Me neither Chris - totally unaware that existed  :o

Thanks for pointing that out Jason - a band to beware of for sure.

The good news is that if you delete it we can do a bit of magic and get it back  ;)

Jo

P.S. Unless someone overwrites the posts  :facepalm2:
