Don, I will be using a small 12 gallon heater which will be more than enough. It is replacing an old one mainly because the electrical supply already exists avoiding further wiring. I also need it both for the vanity and the laundry sink.

Very nice setup!

On the plug strip right above the bench, would suggest putting plug covers on any unused ones near lathe/mill, considering how swarf from brass/iron tends to fly, would not want to get it into an open outlet.

Regarding the 'throne room'...what plans do you have for the library?

Every 'throne room' should have a library.

And make sure it's more permanent than a Sears/Roebuck catalog. Get my drift?

I dare not think about the amount of National Geo we have in our 'rooms'.

Don, I have looked at that and its a nice set-up. Foredom has a 10% off deal I got an email about that's good till the first of the year I think. Who knows, I will put a bug in Santa's ear.  ;D

Zee I will have to give that some thought. I have years worth of Home Shop Machinist around in various places I hate to get rid of.

Looks great, Bill!
Now all you need is to get the water hooked up to the throne so that its fully functional.  :toilet_claw:

That's a nice little cabinet that Foredom has there.  Drop a bug in Santa's ear.  You never know what might be coming down your chimney in a month!  ;D

Kim, the throne is fully working now which is handy :D. I didn't make it out there yesterday, but did for a while today. I had ordered two dust collector hoods for the foredom bench lathe and they came in yesterday. Set them in place and measured (photo1) between the elbows so I can make a "tee" adapter to connect my 1 1/4" shop vac hose to both hoods (photo 2). The shop gnomes apparently added to the order ( thanks Don) and included the lighted work chamber (photo 3). Luckily, I can connect to an air line there in that corner of the worknench, just have to make an adapter for 6mm air line to the chamber back.

Progress has begun on the far side of the shop now too. Two more old OSB panels need to be removed and replaced with new ones, then the workbench frames can be reattached and new countertops installed. Hope to get that done within a few days (photo 4).

Bill

Still things to do but making some slow progress.

Thanks Kim. I am ready to get to the finish line so I can resume with three unfinished engine projects.
