Damn programmers and techies

Ouch.

But here's the rub...I'm a programmer...but I wouldn't necessarily call myself a techie. T is more techie than I.  ;D
Techie today is too influenced by marketing. So it's what you 'like'..not what makes sense.

Zee's rule number #2: It's always wrong.
Zee's rule number #3: If I think it's right...well..it could be. Or it could be wrong.
Zee's rule number #4 :It's always wrong.

Full disclosure: I've had at least 4 'stinking hoppies' and have spent twenty minutes trying to get my spelling right.

Just got back from a trip to NYC. Lot's of walking. Everything hurts.
Even the eyes. Saw some things that nobody should see.  :lolb:

For the US people...see Ellis Island..understand how this country developed.

Zee, years ago I lived in NJ and worked in midtown NYC. I took a bus in and home everyday and walked from the port authority up to 56th Street and 6th avenue unless it was pouring rain or under 20 degrees in which case I took the subway. I saw a lot in those walks, most of which made a lasting impact on me, and most not good. NYC is a great place to be sure but one can see both the best and the worst this country has to offer. It was an interesting couple of years to be sure.

Boy their accounting department is on top of it. I thought when I paid the ransom,Er, fee that it was an automatic payment. However, it was just monthly and that was up on the 18th

May I suggest using an alternative photohosting service  ::)

I think Photosuckit has made it clear that they still have no planned date for their parents marriage...

Cletus and Zee---A bit off topic here, but not much. I built the Cretors Popcorn engine based on Stu Harts design, but changed to inches with a few very slight modifications. It ran so well that I immediately built two more for a "Steam Donkey Winch". The winch engines were very close to the original Popcorn design but with changes to the cross slide for a different mounting style. I had reason to track down this image today to answer a question on a different forum, but I thought you guys might get a kick out of the surprising places that engine showed up.---Brian

So not much shop time today, but, I did manage to get into some bolt making. They are 4-40x .250” 416 stainless. The hex is 3/16. I bought a HSS die on Amazon that’s made in Japan but it did a great job on the stainless. Here’s my required piccy  :Jester:
