Thanks everybody for stopping by. Otto, it kinda sneaked up on me also, I ran out of parts and had to put it together. Jason, I think for once I might have done something right and that’s funny; same thing my daddy told me when I was about 13😂😂. Brian, still no gaskets, but, with a little more fiddling, I think it’s ticking over nice and slowly now. Jo, I will throw in a picture of my set of Bacho adjoostable spannahs (trying for the accent 😎) really nice. I ordered them from somewhere over in your loovly country. So here’s y’all another short video at a much lower RPM and Jo’s pic. Y’all come back now ya hear.

The metric ones are adjustable spanners, the inch ones are Crescent wrenches!

So does that mean that a certain common metal is called 'aluminium' when it's cut in metric lengths and 'aloominum' in imperial...?   ;)

Great entertaining thread and very nice engine, Eric. Love your workshop too.

Thanks Roger for kicking me arse back in gear and thanks for the compliment. Yes these are metric adjustable spanners cause the nomenclature on the side is in mm. :lolb: :lolb: I agree though, if’n anybody ever said “hand me a adjustable wrench” I would have said, “ you mean a Crescent wrench?”. Guys, I’ve gotten way behind with my posting on the forum. Now, I do still try to check in daily and see who’s doing what, but, at about the time of my last post, one of my oldest and dearest friends was sent home with hospice care. TBH, kinda kicked old Whiskey in the cajones. He and I spent a lotta time “living the past” in his last days. He passed away the night before Chuck Fellows gave us his gut wrenching news. Sooooo, my old ass has been in a funk and I ain’t denying it. I spent a little time in the old shid this weekend and started working on some of my Christmas goodies I usually send out to my pals. See y’all in the “Showcase” .
