Shouldn't all time pieces be displayed reading 10 minutes to 2 so that they look that they are smiling?  :lolb: :lolb: :lolb: :lolb:

My more serious thoughts on this is that if the gauge were left "unmolested" then it most certainly be dispatched to the bottom draw for eternity eventually to be thrown out as junk. Stew has brought it back to life as a working piece where I am sure it hangs proudly in his workshop to be looked at several times (sorry about the pun) a day.  :ThumbsUp: :ThumbsUp: :cheers:

I agree, these old gages are great, I restored one that we use anually at our festival on the air tank that starts the big diesel engine, but they aren't an endagered species yet.

When we leave the EU we can once again use this type of pressure gauge  and i will willingly do that to all the 'other' gauges bar none !! Geddit

I did vote leave btw   but i thought it mean't leave brexit !!!!
