Building season winding down
« on: April 17, 2018, 09:59:44 PM »
At least for me. Another passion of mine is Adventure riding motorcycles. Riding across the country on as much gravel & dirt as possible. That season is about to start...if this damn snow would ever stop!

Anyhow, here’s a picture of the things I’ve built over the last year. Sure hope I can accomplish as much next year.

Hmmm Thats a nice collection!
I know what you mean normally the build season would have ended already for me and I'd be doing gardening preparation and cleaning up the yard and trimming hedges and trees. Every time the snow is about gone we get another 6 to 10 inches. Don't get me wrong I like my winters and snow if I didn't I'd be moving but this winter seems extra long.

Don't head north just yet - it is STILL snowing up here!   :cussing:
Should be out canoeing and sailing by now!

That is definitely a nice year's worth of work Jack.

As far as the building season winding down, hopefully, it is the opposite for me.   I won't be plowing snow anymore, the kids' activities will be at a minimum and I should get my Sunday afternoons back.  In a nutshell, I should be able to get some shop time here soon.

Very nice collection.

I'd be lucky to get one done in a year.

The old ball is just changing as she always has. Some lay it on the Global Warming stuff; I say she’s just changing like she always has. Ever hear of the “Ice Ages” :lolb:

Thanks for the comments guys.
Future project, I’d like to build a horizontal hit & miss,  from barstock. I’d like something with about a 1” bore X 1 1/2” stroke. Suggestions or ideas welcomed

It’s snowing again. 5” so far. I hope it’s better to the east. We’re planning leaving for NAMES in the morning.

Jack
