Todays entertainment
« on: April 16, 2018, 08:26:16 PM »
I've had this little beastie for a few months and decided that as 68th birthday present to self would actually set it up to be useful.

The piece of oak used to be top of my mothers sewing machine table.  The two aluminium pulleys were my first ever attempt at pulleys. Surprisingly they worked.

Does anyone know how the toolpost adjusts or tool height. Beneath the assembly which clamps the tool post to the top slide is a metal ring with milled edges.  I sort of feel that this should screw up or down a short distance, but currently is absolutely solid (maybe seized).

Anyone have any ideas.
