GOVERNOR--MEYERS SIDE SHAFT
« on: November 10, 2018, 09:02:18 PM »
Craig DeShong has a thread going on right now about the Meyers side shaft hit and miss engine, and I am intrigued by it. I have been playing around today seeing if I could figure out how the governor system was going to work. I think I have it, or at least 90 percent of it. I don't really know where I am going with this, but it certainly is interesting. Here I have it modelled disengaged and engaged, without paying a whole lot of attention to scale.

Spot on Brian.  You've captured the mechanism and motion.
