Hi Mike,

I still have to go a day without being reminded about the op last year and no it is not just Surus sitting on the dining table fondling my engine castings for me  ::)

Three months into the new year and still no new casting sets, it is so difficult  :(

Hi Jo

Don't go lifting heavy stuff for a while. Have you thought of a zipper tattoo like Dave? :LittleDevil:

Just dug a path out to the workshop door so it will be business as usual very soon.

Mike
It is the journey that matters, not the destination

Sometimes, it can be a long and winding road

Jo, you'll be happy to hear that the snow is back over on this side of the pond again, we got almost 2 feet of heavy wet snow overnight.

Though, it will be cleared and everything back to normal in another hour or so...

Since I will be in the UK in about a month, I hope you get this weather sorted out by then. I see Kerrin is having a rough time in NZ and I thought you should know that across the ditch in Melbourne, it is not much better.  :mischief:
This is the view from my front this morning. You will note the angry sky and the treacherous underfoot conditions.  :lolb: I had to put shoes on because the path was a bit hot to walk on barefoot. Expecting 32 deg today.

You all take care in the cold stuff.

Ian.

You will have to wait Dave  ;)

I need it to melt the snow on my conservatory/solar panels just enough to get the snow moving down hill so it takes with it all the target practise the local birds have deposited ::)

Edit: Just removed the glaciers off the panels I could reach with the pool cleaner - the power output has gone from 70W to over 1KW, so time to boost the workshop heating  ;D Heat's coming your way Dave  ;)

At least something good came with the snow from Russia and the East - our first ever Fieldfare in 30 years of living here. We have had Redwings before in snowy weather but this is something a bit special. Arrived yesterday, and back again today.

Bit of a worry here, there are quite a number of Fan Tails about the place, these little birds only come to town when there is heavy snow coming in the mountains. Not too worried yet the temp is still in the mid twenties.
