Hi from Yorkshire
« on: February 22, 2018, 05:04:06 PM »
Hi all
I have lurked around this forum for a few years now and I think I should join and be part of it.
I have been model engineering for a good few years now and have a fairly comprehensive workshop since I took early retirement 20 years ago.
Thats not to say that I gave up working, the old saying I do not know how I found time to work springs t  mind as i still dont have time to do the things I want to.
My day job was in electrical engineering, but I have eclectic tastes.
Over the years I have built the Mark 2 Dore Westbury mill, Quorn tool and cutter grinder, Tangye twin engine, ME beam engine, Stuart no.4 and have nearly finished the Ferrabbee vertical engine.
Used to have an MGB Gt until last year, had it for 30 years but find it harder to crawl under it to maintain it as I like to, so it has been given to my nephew who wanted it since we took him swimming in it on a weekend when he was young.
Hope too be able to contribute to the forum.
Regards
Hian

Hian,
Welcome to the forum! I think you know already that you will find folks interested in every branch of the engine family tree.

Hello Hian - welcome to the forum - always good to see a lurker make the cross to the 'dark side'  ;)

Do pop some pics up of your models
