Hello,

yes, I am still alive  ;)

In the last weeks my father worked a lot on the IHC.
He built many levers, the camshaft, the waterpump, the flywheels, the magneto and many small other parts.

At this time, I build one completly other thing. A crooked garden sheed, or witch house.

Regards Toby

Good progress on the engine with some excellent fabrication  :praise2:  :praise2:

I also like the topsy turvey house   I remember seeing something similar for sale in OBI a couple of years ago.
Best regards

Roger

Hello Roger.
Thanks for your comment.
Right, the house is also available as a kit or ready to buy.
It was clearly too expensive to buy.
Then, after photos from the internet, I drew it myself and then built it.

If you are interested, there are some information and many pictures on my homepage.

Hello,

there is also a small update here.
The cylinder head has been started and the carburetor has been completed.

Great progress Toby, lots of very nice fabrication!
I really like the Witch house that you made, I was going to comment on it before but forgot to.

Hello,

Slowly you can recognize an IHC Famous.
My dad has finished all sorts of parts.
We are very excited about how the engines will run.
Until then, there is still a lot to do.

Greeting Toby

Some good progress there, won't be long before you have it running and driving your pump.

Hello,
thanks for your comments.

My dad starts now with the powder coating the parts.
We chose black / red.
The tank, the flywheels and the pulleys are already done.

I would like to surprise my father with stickers.
I saw it at
https://www.binderbooks.com/bb-ds-ih-f2.html
there are "original" stickers.

Now my questions.
Have these stickers really been that way on the engines?
Where were the stickers affixed?
Are these stickers also small or can the stickers be made by someone?

I would like to make a sticker on the box with the ignition.
Is that OK?

I know a manufacturer, Tailormade Decals, but only makes waterslide decals.
I think they are not suitable.

Thanks for the help, Greeting Toby

The plainer "circle" was more often used either on the cylinder or more often the sloping sides of the crankcase. The battery box was also a common place to find the Logo.

I don't think there is an ideal way to get it onto wood, if you go for waterslide that will work if the wood has a good smooth lacquered or varnished surface and then apply more coats to protect the transfer. You can get them printed onto self adhesive clear but it always shows where the edge of the sticker is.

Waterslide can be done at home by using special paper and putting that through your own printer, for the circle just plain black would be best as colour is too weak or needs printing onto a white background which then has to be cut so any white does not show. This is one I did myself, poor photo but the metal is brass and about 15mm diameter
