Hello, I have been following a few threads here and thought it would be good to become an official member. A little background about me: I have been building reproduction IC models of historic engines since the late 1980's. One offs and production efforts include several sizes of 1867 Otto Langen engines, 1901 Parsell and Weed in three different scales, 1884 Sombart non-compression, 1899 Springfield 1/2 scale 1 hp, 1883 Forest, slide valve replicas, 1/3rd scale Columbian Otto and numerous other one off experimental designs. Lately my energy has has been focused on the earliest engine designs ( slide valve and flame ignition) where I have published a historical reference book on the topic and restored several of these full size originals.
