Simple Oscillating Engine
« on: October 29, 2017, 10:07:40 AM »
Hi,

Finished this today.  A simple oscillating engine from Steve's Workshop.

I had some minor problems (the pivot spring was too tight and I didn't really pick it up until I made some new parts and enlarged the ports etc.) but it runs well.

I don't know why, but the pictures are being turned 180 degrees.

Nicely done Ben.
That was my first engine when I started also.

Good looking finish on the parts. congratulations.

Some cameras/phones do not honour that rotation info if you take photos with camera in portrait mode. Using a photo app to edit might cure the problem.
