Hi Bill and thank you,

I have modified the Valve by removing the roller ball and added a "lever" that acts kind of like a rocker arm to lift the valve. This new system works much better and I have adjusted the timing a bit more and the engine runs much smoother.

Have a great day,
Thomas

Nice!  Almost as much fun to hear the glee in your voice as to watch the motor get built and run.  Keep on steamin' Thomas!

Hey Bent,

It is always nice to have an engine actually run and all the work.

Thanks,
Have a great day

Short video of the new modified Valve System. Cam follower mounted on the side plate acting like a rocker arm and eliminating all the side load on the Valve. Runs much smoother with a bit more fine tuning of the eCam.

Hello everyone,

Now have the Cat Head, Steam In plumbing, Blow Bye tube and a Counterweight installed. Now I need to get it on steam and see if it will work.

Later,
Thomas
