New boy
« on: July 20, 2012, 03:30:03 PM »
It feels like my first day school. Everyone else knows everyone else, it seems.

I found my way here thanks to Bogstandard's link on Model Engineer, and thought I'd give it a try.

Most of my metal bashing has been agricultural to date, but I'm trying to give it up after half a century, and recently got a SIEG C4 which I am slowly learning to use. So I probably won't be contributing much just yet other than beginners questions.

Welcome on board Mike  :)

Don't worry; you'll soon get to know everyone.  And please do fire away with questions - don't be bashful about it.  You'll find that you'll pretty quickly get your answers or suggestions.

Kind regards, Arnold
Building an engine takes Patience, Planning, Preparation and Machining.
Procrastination is nearly the same, but it precludes machining.
Thus, an engine will only be built once the procrastination stops and the machining begins!
