Cowell Lathe
« on: September 19, 2017, 04:07:42 PM »
Just acquired this  Cowell me90 lathe and know nothing about it. There are loads of accessories with it, 4 jaw, back plates , toolposts, tools etc.
Anybody got an idea how old it is,  are these tiny lathes any good, I paid £50, bargain or rubbish?
Thanks Jon

We need to see pics of the rest of the stuff that came with it but its a keeper  ;)  If you find the serial number on the end of the bed Cowells will tell you when they supplied it.

  You paid the same as I did for Little C  ::)

P.S. I just realised you are about 20 miles north of me if you want to come and visit Little C to look at the difference between your earlier lathe and the later one & I can talk you through them.

Enjoyment is more important than achievement.
