Building an auto from castings (for Jo)
« on: September 12, 2017, 07:45:46 PM »
So ok, the title is a little deceiving, but, so was the video one . However, after watching it, I thought a few more might enjoy it if not already viewed. I found it a great look into the past and how fortunate we are today to see the advancements in not only manufacturing, but, quality of life.  to that hard working generation that laid the foundation for us .

This was interesting Cletus from several standpoints. First the total lack of any formal safety measures typical of all of these old videos. Second the large number of workers doing many assembly tasks and material movement tasks that would of course be automated these days. Lastly was the music accompanying the documentary, almost like a heavy dramatic score from the 30's or 40's. Anyway, it was still an enjoyable look back a times long since past. Thanks for posting it.
