Next some photo's of making the cilinder liner and cover , the liner I made from 42CrMo4 steel , same as the crankshaft and the cover from 6082 aluminium ,
the outside of theliner is a few 1/100 mm larger than the inner of the cover , the liner go's in the freezer and the cover is warming up on the Alladin stove for a shrink fitting

I've only just seen this thread Jef - after quite a lay off you have my interest focused ;)

That's some very nice workmanship indeed and a really nice photo coverage of the process :ThumbsUp: :ThumbsUp: I'll look forwards to watching the rest develop and and see and hear it running in due course.
