Motor repair help please
« on: August 27, 2017, 09:59:20 PM »
I've got a pontass model s lathe that I'm trying to fix up and use but the motor is not engaging with the pully. When I have looked inside the pully wheel that connects to the motor there is some rubber inside that I think should squash onto The motor and there for run. Does anyone know where I could get a replacement rubber in the UK or a way to fix it thanKS guys

Chris, is there not some sort of setscrew also holding the pulley to the motor shaft?  Maybe a picture would help.  Also, please when you have time post an introduction in the "Introduce Yourself" section so that we can know more about you  and your modeling interests, etc.

Bill
