Hi everybody. I'm a model engineer of many facets: but my real interest is in steam driven stuff, locos and boats. This was my first go at a Stuart 10V, it's hidden inside the saloon of the Swiss Lake launch that I built from a photo.

I've been working on a 3.5" Britannia loco since 2007, but other interests and activities keep impeding completion! I've just acquired  the castings for a Stuart Beam Engine, therefore the Brit will have to wait just a little bit longer. Here's the Brit air running clip from many years ago, just to prove that it works!

The loco currently looks like this, but it's been this way for some time!

i'll keep you all posted on the beam engine progress, but K.L.'s posts are teaching me a thing or two!
John

Hi John, and welcome to the forum!

Very nice ship and steam engine there!   What's the scale of the engine?

I just watched your recent video. To use a very English expression: you must be 'well chuffed' with it!
