Buffalo-Pitts Traction Engines Information
« on: July 09, 2017, 05:49:52 PM »
Just ran across this web site with lots of traction engine info for the engines made in Buffalo NY, along with threshers and steam rollers. Copies of old catalogs, ads, good pictures. Some interesting designs there.

I came across it at the Buffalo Industrial Heritage site, which gives an annual tour of the HUGE steam engine pumping plant in the city, which is not used any more but still very impressive - I just missed the tour this year, want to go next year.

There are a few nice models of a BP about, going to add one to your todo list ;)

Austrailian models if I remember rightly at about 3" scale eg 1/4 full size
